Kash rates:

An officer and a Gentleman (1982): 4/4. Directed by Taylor Hackford; Starring Richard Gere, Debra Winger: Great love story, excellent acting by Richard Gere as always and Debra Winger who looks gorgeous in this movie.

My Big Fat Greek Wedding (2002): 3/4. Directed by Joel Zwick; Starring Nia Vardalos, Michael Constantine: Kinda reminded me of weddings in my own culture though it seems Greeks sure enjoy their weddings more than we do.

Playing by Heart (1998): 3/4. Directed by Willard Carroll; Starring Angelina Jolie, Sean Connery: Great ensemble cast. Made in the tradition of Woody Allen's "Hanna and her Sisters". By the way, kinda funny to run into Jon Stewart here!

Eve's Bayou (1997): 3.5/4. Directed by Kasi Lemmons; Starring Samuel L. Jackson, Jurnee Smallet: A great complex movie which is definitely gonna haunt you long after you've finished watching it.
